Comic Book Chain Vector Brushes for Affinity Designer

These are vector brushes for Affinity Designer, which means they are actually an automatically repeating raster image running along a vector line. They can be coloured via the stroke colour option or by using the effects panel. This is a digital download

There's also a Styles file to install which when clicked on, runs 2 chain brushes along a single curve, so the 'inks' and 'colours' can be changed

To install the brushes, open a new file in Affinity Designer, and click on the 4 lines to the right of the 'brushes' panel, then 'import brushes' or simply drop the brush file into the middle of an empty Affinity screen

I would recommend having the stroke set to the 'Butt Cap' (which is the middle cap option) end rather than the 'Round Cap' or 'Square Cap' as it gives the cleanest end.
